Okay, here's a challenge for you...guess what these will be...
a hint? Yes, it will be socks!
I've got to tell you, I went and admired my Frappr Map again today. I can't tell you how cool it is to see all the little pins on it that represent you guys! I am constantly amazed at how cool it is that I can sit here on my computer in Texas and there are people all over the world looking at my socks! It sure brightens my day, let me tell you!
In a sort of related story, I walked into the LYS yesterday and the owner immediately started telling me they were forming a team for the Knitting Olympics. I thought it was hysterical that there was no explanation required, she just knew that I would know what she was talking about!

Hi - I've been lurking for a short while.
Just want to say that I have the same problems with splits in the
fingers.... though on the left it tends to be after the maybe a bit too
pointy needles digging into the finger when putting needle through the
stich... a bit painfull, but not enough to stop me either. I did make a
little skin-timple for the right hand though, wich I tape on with
angleskin-plaster...
I think it will be slip stitch socks, with perhaps a touch of fairisle . .
