New WIPS

I scanned all the new WIPS this AM for your viewing pleasure.  First, we have the LL Wisteria Cabled Sweat Socks.  They are coming along better since I found the cable needle.  Pretty socks, but labor intensive.  The other socks in this photo are the Regia Multi-Effekt.  Weird.

Shhh.  I also scanned the Jaeger Merino socks that are a surprise for Howdy's birthday.  These are nice fluffy socks and are working up quickly.  I thought about some cables, but I think the ribs are a better plan.  I think I will rip out these seven rows and knit through the back loops, to make the ribs stand up a little more.  I think I will also cast on 64 instead of 56.  I tried the Norwegian Purling (with the yarn in back) and I can do it just fine, but I think it stretches out the purl loops from the previous row out too much, so I will keep purling the same old way for now.

Soccer this afternoon and it's a great day to be sitting outside and knitting!
