You know, I do thing like this a lot, but most of them really don't seem all that funny.  This one worked, don't you think?  I don't know what's more appropriate, the Dingy, or the Sugar-Socks!

See, now I read it as rhyming with "thingy," like as in "dingy blonde." I don't think of an elf as the brightest bulb in the box, y'know? You, however, strike me as just the opposite!

I have a question about the long cable needle cast on, are the socks knitted in the round on this needle or sewn together, and is there a book on how to do this somewhere. Thank you for your assistance, I love this site.
